A: Cat's Raw Paw is a play on words, according to this writer's prerogative. It is like asking for a high five from a cat, or asking for a cat to give the paw, but give it to me raw --- give it to me authentically. Tell me how it is authentically, and show up (Cat) as yourself, authentically. This is my authentic website, where I share "self" at whatever stage that "I" am at, including ego stories, things "I" am working on and mystical experiences which may help others in their Life's journey.
Q: Who designed Cat's Raw Paw? A: Cat did! I use Weebly to design my website, everything from choosing banners, color schemes, and typography. As a self-taught designer, I've had an eye for design since I was young. The look and feel of Cat's Raw Paw is one of clarity and tranquility.
Q: Who took the photos on Cat's Raw Paw?
A: Photos are my own, or are free stock photos that I've photo-manipulated. Sometimes I get really creative and you can find some crazy art! The caption under the photo will reveal what I've done, or, in the case of a story, the photo credits will be at the end of the story. If there is no caption under a photo, it is a free stock image (to which I've probably added some lighting effect---it is rare, but sometimes I leave the image as is).
Q: Who writes the articles on Cat's Raw Paw? What about the stories or inspirational quotes?
A: All stories and inspirational quotes are written by Cat. All health articles and meditation techniques are written by Cat. All recipes were created by Cat. While some health practitioners hire others to write content for them, I am indeed the author :) You might note, however, that for some of my more mystical pieces, the pen name A. Void is used. Yes, it is a play on words!
Q: What software do you use as a designer?
A: For the photos that you see here, I use the pro version of Canva to add lighting effects, do photo-manipulation, and create photo art. For my digital art pieces that I sell, I use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Q: Where do you get your inspiration?
A: From the void, from the nothingness. It may be a strange answer, but many artists create from a place of silence, from a stillness that is beyond the mind.
Q: Are you on Social Media?
I make videos on YouTube. They are usually about nutrition and meditation. You can subscribe and be notified when I release a video. If you feel inclined, you can like a video and comment! :) I don't profess to answer every comment, but I try and read all of them!
You can also find me offering short nutrition nuggets and "Ask Cat" on TikTok.
On Instagram, I share garden and herb pics, and vids from TikTok, as not everyone is on every social media platform.
Q: I LOVE your artwork? Who does your designs for YouTube, your Podcasts, etc.?
A: Thanks! As with the other artwork on my website, such as for my recipes and articles, I design all artwork myself. Putting together a vid or podcast takes time, and just to do the artwork can take me 3-5 hours, depending on the depth of info involved. For my Podcasts, I try to create an image of what you can find in the podcast, and sometimes that involves putting together many different parts. For YouTube, I enjoy creating more intricate and in-depth pieces, but it is true that simpler ones with simple text are what you see at such a small scale like on your phone!! I admit that I LOVE designing. My energy as a creative is an outpouring of LOVE, what more can I say?! :)
Q: Are links on your website affiliate?
A: Links in articles and recipes are NOT affiliate links. On the sidebar, you CAN find a donation button to support the work I do :)
