To make an herbal infusion, you'll need 3/4-1 cup dried herb, water, and a 1-liter glass mason jar.
Place 1 ounce by weight (3/4-1 cup in volume) of dried herb in a 1-liter mason jar. Add 4 cups boiling water and pour over the herb. Stir with a non-metallic object to ensure all plant material is covered. Place on lid and screw cap and let sit 4-8 hours. Strain out herb using a fine mesh sieve. You can now drink this infusion as is, or warm it up if you like. Store the rest of the infusion in the fridge for 2-3 days. Compost the spent herbs.
